By: Arvin Joseph Villamil

All guts and skills were unleashed as 54 basketball players battled out for a spot in the PUP-College of Education basketball team last July 8, 2014 at the PUP open court.

An all-out blast of action by the 54 hopefuls filled up the CoEd basketball tryout.  All aspiring applicants released all their best shots to be named as one of the eight new basketball players of the CoEd Team.

In the end, 24 strong players remained standing, and were set to clash once again for the eight slots in the basketball team.

The College of Education basketball player and captain ball said that they did not expect that a large number of applicants would come, he also added that the players should give their best shot and show sportsmanship.

All 24 finalists would face each other once again to narrow down the list to eight, consisting of five new players and three reservists.
